Camera

Although many of us were looking for the higher resolution digital camera that PalmOne talked about for months; This is a far superior camera than was found in the Treo 600.

Additional ‘Hard’ Buttons

Very mixed sentiments on this... On one hand, thank you for the additional controls, but very poor overall navigation.

Keyboard / Keypad

Nice improvement over the Treo 600... far faster typing now.

Keypad lighting

Nice overall lighting for the controls over the Treo 600.

Power Button

Better positioning for the Power Button, no more case strap influenced accidental phone power downs.

SD/MMC

Better mechanism, less cards popping out accidentally... although it DOES still happen, it happened to me today.

Much faster web surfing

Good beginning for playing MP3’s and MPEG’s... now Palm needs to dump REALplayer and move on.

Palm Desktop is better overall, but what’s with the convoluted Media and Images management?
